My goal of this blog is to provide you with sound nutrition guidance so you are confident in all of your food choices. There is so much conflicting nutrition information in the media and I hope to provide you with a trustworthy source of information. After all, I spent 6 years in college earning my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and master’s degree in Dietetic Administration.

There is no one-size-fits all recipe for the perfect “diet.” In fact, I don’t even believe in “diets” the way our society now thinks of them. The term “diet” now carries a negative, restrictive connotation instead of just describing what we eat. I consider myself to be a non-diet dietitian, meaning I believe all foods can fit into a person’s lifestyle– unless you are allergic or have another medical restriction. Food should nourish our body, mind and soul.
